Anova Pictures is an independent production company with a track record of success in producing elevated genre films. The company produced global smash hit THE SILENCING, starring Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Annabelle Wallis and Hero Fiennes Tiffin directed by Robin Pront, a Global Top Ten Netflix film across 53 countries, opening #2 in the US with four million views. Released in summer 2020, Indiewire called it the “breakout success” with Variety reporting the “hit” as the top grossing new film release with the highest per-screen average during COVID. The film debuted digitally as the #1 rental for weeks, topping the domestic charts for months while performing as Universal Pictures’ top international PVOD title. Slated for a World Premiere at SXSW2020 Midnighters, the film was nominated for Best Picture in the Official Fantàstic Competition at Sitges 2020.

Anova currently has two films in post-production including THIS IS NOT A TEST, starring Olivia Holt, Luke Macfarlane and Froy Gutierrez directed by Adam Macdonald based on best-selling author Courtney Summers’ YA book about five students who take shelter in their high school during a zombie outbreak.
