Anova Pictures is an independent production company with a track record of success in producing elevated genre films. Anova produced the global smash hit THE SILENCING, starring Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Annabelle Wallis and Hero Fiennes Tiffin directed by Robin Pront, a Global Top Ten Netflix film, opening #2 in the US and landing in the Top Ten across 53 countries. Released in summer 2020, Indiewire called it the “breakout success” with Variety reporting the “hit” as the top grossing new film release with the highest per-screen average opening on 80 screens during COVID. The film debuted digitally as the #1 rental for weeks, topping the domestic charts for two months while performing as Universal Pictures’ top international VOD/digital title.
